Christopher Mallett, 27, has been arrested for a murder that occurred in January in the Crazy Horse III parking lot.
During the early morning hours of Jan. 11, police were called to the scene of the popular strip club, located on Russell Road and Valley View Boulevard.
When they arrived they found a deceased male inside a white car in the strip club’s parking lot.
He was later identified as Antonio Logan and the cause of death was from a single gunshot wound to the chest.
Employees of the Crazy Horse III were surprised that such violence took place and said that violent incidents rarely occurred there.
Information made available at the time of the murder indicated that Logan, 28, had been involved in some type of altercation with other people before he was shot.
It is believed that Mallett and Logan knew each other.
The strip club has Surveillance coverage although is not known if the coverage extended to the parking lot or if police were able to use the footage to help them identify Mallett.
Mallett was charged with first degree murder, robbery with a deadly weapon, burglary and discharging a gun into an occupied structured or vehicle.
He is schedule to appear in court on Feb. 28.
