Files on 30 Chicago bad Priests being made publicly available

Files of 30 Chicago bad Priests are expected to be made publicly available Tuesday.

The Archdiocese of Chicago has been accused on concealing records of known bad priests for decades.  The records are expected to reveal how the Chicago Archdiocese simply shuffled priests to other parishes so that they could molest other children.

Cardinal Francis George released a letter on Jan. 12 to parishioners and apologized for the abuse.

The Cardinal did emphasize that most of the abuse occurred before he became archbishop and said all of the abuse was eventually reported to civil authorities and resulted in settlements with victim.

As distasteful, there are a lot of bad Priests and the Catholic Church, in particular, has been shielding sexual deviant pedophile priest routinely for years.

In Minnesota, Curtis Wehmeyer, better known as Father Curt was shielded by the The Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis.

They fully knew that he cruised cruised around known gay areas so that he could meet men and boys to engage in random sex. They even knew that he approached boys for sex and but they kept it quiet. their solution was to simply move him around because they believed that his “sex addiction” had no bearing on “the workplace”.

Father Curt was even promoted.  He now sits in jail.

In the Chicago case, most of the pedophile priests are deceased.

Out of 65 priests who have been accused, records will only be released for 30 of the pedophile priests.

Although the Cardinal has claimed to release the records in order to raise transparency, the release was actually part of a legal settlement with the abuse victims.
