It has been revealed that James Holmes, the Colorado shooter told others of plans to kill people.
Court documents released on Friday that the Colorado shooter “had conversations with a classmate about wanting to kill people” months before the July 20 massacre.
The neuroscience student said that he would kill people “when his life was over.”
Is that really a surprise?
The Colorado shooter was living in Colorado, stockpiling expensive weapons, detailing his plans in a notebook so it is very evident that these plans have in place for some time and that the horrendous Colorado massacre that enfolded took months or preparation and a lot of money.
The Colorado shooter had to be getting this money from somewhere and again the unanswered questions lie with his family who have this far failed to answer any questions and shed light on this.
Some who read this blog have taken offense saying that his parents are not to blame.
While they are not to blame, per se, they had to know that their son was extremely troubled and since Holmes was not working, he had to be getting the money from somewhere to assemble his very expensive arsenal.
Did his parents see the credit card receipts? Were they just happy that their school smart but very troubled son was leaving the state and therefore out of their hair?
Did they attempt to get him any help and were perhaps rebuffed since he hadn’t committed any extreme acts?
Holmes’ father, Robert Holmes, reportedly is a senior lead analyst with FICO, and was scheduled to testify as a whistle-blower regarding the LIBOR scandal. Surely he would know about any credit card charges by his son.
His own mother make a statement indicating that she was not surprised and then quickly backtracked and now the family has remained eerily quiet. She did hold a press conference regarding her statement only after finding out that there was no audio of the phone conversation.
There were so many signs at school and doctors that he was seeing reported his disturbing behavior yet no actions were taken.
In a case like this that has taken so many lives, his parents have a moral obligation to speak up.
What about his behavior now?
Has he really gone off into his own psychotic world or is it an act?
