A convenience store argument turned deadly in East Las Vegas leaving one man dead.
On Monday night, a man was in the convenience store, located near the intersection of Twain and Swenson.
After stepping outside the store, he was severely beaten.
Police had received calls Monday evening, shortly before 6pm, that a man was being beaten by at least two men.
Some reports said that three men were beating up the victim.
Police arrived, shortly after being called, and found the severely beaten man bleeding on the sidewalk, just a short distance from the convenience store.
The as of yet unidentified man was transported to University Medical Center (UMC), where he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter..
It turns out that the store clerk was involved and he has now been arrested.
The convenience store clerk, Genaro Padilla Jr, 30 was arrested along with Kenneth Glosson, 56.
There appears to have been some type of confrontation involving the unidentified man with the store clerk inside the store.
The two argued and the victim then left the store.
Sadly, the situation carried out onto the street where the victim was viciously beaten and stabbed
Padilla and Glosson have both been charged with first degree murder with a deadly weapon.
The intersection of Twain and Swenson is an area with high crime and also has a long-time reputation as a known drug area.
It is not known if any type of drug deal gone awry led to the confrontation inside the convenience store.
Glosson, has a prior arrest record.
According to online records, some of his past arrests include marijuana possession and prohibited alcohol consumption.
