This is one that goes down in the omg category!
It is the type of story that might very well change your eating habits. I know it has mine.
In South Korea, a semi-cooked squid inseminates woman’s mouth.
You heard that right, a cooked squid Inseminates woman’s mouth!
ABC news reported that according to a paper published in the Journal of Parasitology, a woman experienced severe pain in her mouth when she bit into her seafood. The woman naturally spat out her meal, but still felt a“pricking” sensation.
There was something wrong with her mouth and she had an odd sensation but she did not know what was wrong.
She went to the doctor to find out.
Apparently, it ended up that doctors found that the 63-year-old woman had “small, white spindle-shaped bug-like organisms” lodged in the mucous membrane of her tongue, cheek and gums.
Now here is the really gross part, in case it didn’t sink in before, the cooked squid inseminates the woman’s mouth. Yuk!
Despite having been boiled, the dead squid’s sperm sacks, were alive and kicking, or shall we swimming, and they penetrated the woman’s mouth.
The sacks contain ejaculatory devices which forcefully release sperm and a “cement” that attaches the sperm to a wall.
So that is what the feeling was in her mouth.
Most of the squid prepared in the Western-World does not contain the squid’s internal organs so it is extremely unlikely that this disgusting phenomena would ever occur in the US, but it is possible.
Just to be safe though, you may want to avoid it.
I, for one, don’t think I’ll be enjoying squid ever again! Ever.
