Las Vegas Metro Police have again acted quickly. Four people with gang ties arrested in Las Vegas drive by shooting that resulted in four people being shot.
The shooting occurred on Thursday in front of the Siegel Suites Apartments at 455 East Twain Avenue near Paradise Road in East Las Vegas.
Four people, three females and one male, were walking at approximately 4am when when a car pulled up and opened fire. All four were shot and taken to Sunrise Hospital suffering from non-life threatening injuries. Metro’s Gang Unit began an immediate investigation which resulted in the 4 arrests that were made.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Gang Detectives are crediting an “astute citizen” with providing critical information to them that led to the arrest of the four suspects.
The four people with Gang ties arrested in Las Vegas drive by shooting were 3 adults and one juvenile. According to MyNews3, the names of the 3 adults arrested are Kyle Freeman, Reggie Moore and Troy Emanuel. The name of the juvenile that was arrested has not been released.
It is believed that the three females and one male who were shot were targeted because of some type of altercation that had occurred the previous day. The suspects arrested have links to a gang in Stockton, California. The victims shot are local and Metro has said there have no indication of gang affiliations.
Stockton California has been mentioned many times as a city with high gang activity. So much so, that the City of Stockton even has created an official page dedicated to gang activity that provides information on gang signs, and lists characteristics of those most susceptible to falling in with gangs.
One of the more alarming statements on their official page is , “There is not one neighborhood that is completely free of gang members or gang activity”.
Fortunately the shooting victims suffered non life threatening injuries and 3 have already been released from the hospital
