Robert Davis, a part-time landscaper from Georgia beheads neighbors puppies for apparently no reason.
Tyler Tedesco said the put bull puppies have been given to him and he was in the process of turning them over to a local pit bull rescue group.
He suspected that the puppies might have had parvo and did not want the sick puppies around his own dogs which is why he reached out to a neighbor for assistance.
Tedesco asked the girlfriend of his his neighbor, Robert Davis, if they could watch the puppies for a few days.
She said yes and the puppies were left at the neighbors home.
Tedesco said that his girlfriend’s brother said that Davis told him he killed the puppies but not to tell anyone so they went over to Davis’ house to check on the puppies.
Tedesco told WSBTV,
I saw that, I dropped what I was doing and just walked away. I couldn’t bear to see that because I raised those dogs
We all ran back to the house and cried. As soon as we saw it, it was something nobody wants to go through or see. And it’s really hard for all of us to know that somebody could even do that to a poor innocent animal.
The neighbors left Davis’ home and told him they were calling 911.
Police arrested Davis, after finding the mutilated puppies just before midnight on Saturday.
Davis killed the 2 puppies in a most brutal fashion; they were both stabbed with scissors and one of the puppies was beheaded.
Amazingly, Davis does not have a prior criminal record.
He has been charged with 2 counts of aggravated animal cruelty and also charged with tampering with evidence.
Davis is being held on $250,000 bond.
