
Local Las Vegas Boy Spencer Melvin remembered. The local Las Vegas community is still reeling over the untimely death of 8 year old Spencer Melvin. Melvin collapsed as he was walking to the baseball diamond at Rainbow Family Park in Las Vegas.
Deaths at such a young age are rare, although they do occur.
The local Las Vegas boy apparently died of an undetected heart condition as he was walking to Little League.
“He was a vivacious little boy that was never sick and never complained” said his father, Bob Melvin
There has been an outpouring of support from the community remembering the little full of life local Las Vegas boy who smile lighted up a room and who passionate about Little League.
By all accounts he was just a great, happy little boy who is going to be sorely missed not only by family members but by schoolmates, teammates and friends.
He loss of Spencer Melvin at such a young age will no doubt affect his family forever. There are many who say there is not getting over the loss of a child and that is leaves a permanent wound.
“If you had met Spencer, or if you know Spencer you know that when he smiles he lights up the room” said Eric Nichols, the Vice President of the Peccole Little League.
