Ohio parents who raped their 9 month child sentenced

In a shocking case of abuse that has enraged the nation, the Ohio parents who raped their 9 month old child have been sentenced.

The case touched so many that a facebook page was created, titled Keep Felicia and Cody Beemer behind BARS.

Felicia Banks Beemer, 22,was sentenced to 15 years to life and her husband, Cody Beemer, 25 was sentenced to 25 years to life.

The Ohio parents who raped their 9 month old baby girl might one day regain their freedom.  Unbelievably, both are eligible for parole after serving their minimum required sentences of 15 years and 25 years respectively.

These animals should have never had children in the first place.

The 9 month old girl was raped while in the care of  Trumbull County Children Services offices.  The office is under a lot of fire for not appropriately supervising the parents while having a contact visit with their daughter.  The father, Cody Beemer, had a record dating back to his youth, for sexual assault.

Felicia Beemer was arrested for participating in the rape of her 9-month-old girl and charges of pandering and obscenity of a minor, since  the sexual attacks were recorded on the parents cell phone during a supervised visit with the infant at Trumbull County Children Services offices.

She ended up pleading guilty to the rape in a plea deal.

The two counts of rape carried the potential of life in prison.

The couple’s cell phone was turned over to police by a relative and then examined by state forensic experts. They retrieved photos off of the cell phone showing the rapes of the 9 month old infant girl as well as the rape of a male relative they were baby-sitting.

Also, there were 532 acts of minors in sex acts gained from Internet sites found on their phone.

Felicia Beemer, has a low intellectual ability, however a judge ruled that the monster of a mother was competent to stand trial.  Beemer is allegedly mildly or borderline mentally handicapped and reads and functions as if she were an 8- or 9-year-old. It was also said that she is functional although led easily.

When you see cases like this, you have to wonder where the parents are and why did they did not take steps to ensure that their mentally impaired daughter stopped having children.  Thankfully, one of the relatives turned over the cell phone, however it seems like Felicia was not well cared for.

Here’s what her mother, Loretta Banks had to say,

I know my daughter did wrong, but Children Services done wrong themselves. I am tired of Children Services. They have been bothering me since my kids were young.

Why were they bothering you? Could it be because you did not properly supervise and protect your children, especially the one that is mentally handicapped?  Could they have been bothering you because your daughter kept popping out babies?

In this case, unfortunately, it appears the apple does not fall far from the tree.

Felicia Beemer was known to  Trumbull County Children Services, as was her mother, since she gave birth to 4 children, all of whom have been taken away. One child, unfortunately was placed with and an even worse parental figure and was killed by her foster mother and now her family is crying foul and suing probably because they want money.  They certainly did not want the child!

How about making sure your mentally impaired daughter stops popping out the kids.  That will now hopefully happen since she will be off the streets for at least 15 years, hopefully more.

The Ohio parents who raped their 9 month old were sentenced to long prison sentences but is it enough? Should they ever have the opportunity to be released from jail.
