Sheena Herschbach held hostage in Mesquite reaches out on social media

Sheena Herschbach claims she was held hostage in Mesquite, Nev.
MESQUITE, Nev. — Sheena Herschbach, 26, claims that her 34-year-old boyfriend Jason Greniger held her hostage in at least two hotels in Mesquite, Nev, over the past six months.
She says that she was kept at Greniger’s beck and call and was allowed to leave the motel room to make beer runs. She says that on Jan 12 she said to herself “.. to heck with it”, and instead of apparently getting beer, she was able to go to a library and post her plea online for help.

Here is what she posted Feb. 12 on Facebook,
[sic] I just whant to let every one know im sarry I whant to come home but he wont let me yes Jason he don’t knoe im online im in mesquet novata at the mv motel.
After that post, a friend of Herschback contacted police and her convict boyfriend, or ex-boyfriend, was arrested.
Herschback says that she has not had contact with her family for six months.
Prior to her leaving with her boyfriend, she was active on Facebook and in June, 2013 she posted
[sic] i fill so lost with out my hubby and the kids Iv been thrue so much shit in the past 1year and 4months I dont even know who I am anymore iv really fucked up my life but otheres have helped fuck it up so damn bad people juge people they dont even know only because what others say about them like it says in the BIBLE in mattew 7; 1-5 Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you agen. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brothers eye.
It appears that was was referring to Greniger as her husband.
The couple had been together since 2009 and their children were taken away from them while they lived in Minnesota and are now in foster care.
Herschback told the LVRJ that she has two other children who live with their father.
She has said that Greniger pleaded guilty to charges relating to abuse of their children. It is not known at this time if she was also charged with abusing her children.
She allegedly filed a restraining order, left Greniger and moved to California, but, he ultimately convinced her to go back with him.
Many abusers seem to have an innate ability to pick their victims and hone in on any weaknesses that they can exploit.
Victims of domestic abuse can become so frightened that their judgement is sometimes clouded. Frighteningly some even remain with their abuser voluntarily and participate in the abuse.
In Herschbach’s case, it appears that instead of trying to get her children out of foster care, the very children that she claims to miss, she left with her boyfriend, who she has referred to as her husband..
She seems to be enjoying her 15 minutes of fame and has posted on her Facebook page that she will be on the Las Vegas news.
She has also posted on Jan. 12 that she is managing a motel.
It was not made clear if she obtained the job immediately after her boyfriend was arrested, or did she have the job at the motel all along?
On that posting, she wrote, [sic] “life goes by so fast but im ok just managing a motel its fun its nice to be ur owen boss lol well back to panting lol.
There was no mention of any of her five children.
Jason Greniger has been charged with second degree kidnapping. He was also charged with being a fugitive from another state.
