The saga of Simon Gann and Jordan Gann continues.

The Gann Twins, Simon and Jordan Gann have spent their life separating their victims from their money.

With Jordan Gann apparently still locked up right now, Simon Gann has been running loose around Las Vegas practicing his craft on more unsuspecting victims.

According to the Ottawa Sun, the Florida Department of Corrections lists a release date of Dec. 9, 2012 for Jordan Gann, leaving Simon on his own again.

I became interested in the story of the famed Gann Twins, Simon Gann and Jordan Gann, when bits and pieces started popping up in the local media about a con man that was in Vegas named Simon Gann.

You hear about cons all the time, especially in Las Vegas, and you have to wonder how these con men pick their victims.

Some victims are very young, while others are older. Some have money; others do not.

Simon Gann, masterful con man. Beware, he’s been spotted in Las Vegas!

The con man knows just what to zero in on to achieve the results he wants with his victim.

A family friend in New York was conned years ago by a band of gypsies. This woman, who I will call Rose, was an middle aged, attractive sweet lady. She was never married and lived alone.

I still don’t know exactly how it started but I believe it began when she got her palm read on the streets of New York. That was the rage back then; $3 and your future will be revealed.

The palm reader was able to get a few thousand dollars off of Rose by promising her to bless her money. Rose didn’t have any real money to speak of and took cash advances on her credit cards.

Seems crazy, right? But she fell for it.

Apparently the palm reader realized she found an easy target and arranged for a cohort to become romantically involved with Rose. He had practically moved in with her, along with a guy that he said was his adult son. They crammed themselves into her very small studio apartment.

The stories she told me just didn’t sound right so I pretty much forced an invite to her place where she was making them dinner.

I met Rose’s beau, who she said she was now engaged to, and his adult son. Both were VERY good looking and charming, however I knew something was wrong and took an immediate dislike to them.

I peppered them with numerous questions and even asked to see their driver’s license, which they both refused.

I stayed put until they left by saying that I was going to spend the night there. They finally left and I tried my best to talk some sense into her.

After many hours it worked and I was horrified to find out she cashed out her 401K and gave her fiance all of it.

She recovered but it took years for her to pay down the thousands of dollars he had scammed her out of. She finally did contact the authorities and, back then, there wasn’t much they said they could do for her.

That’s how con man operate.

Con men like Simon Gann and Jordan Gann, the evil Gann Twins, enjoy the con game way of life.

With their obvious bright minds, good looks and charming personalities, they both probably had a good shot at being successful legitimately. Simon reportedly speaks a number of a languages and both seem to possess above average intelligence. Instead, they chose a life of crime.

Jordan Gann reportedly has suffered from drug problems through the years and even used his twin brothers identify as one of his aliases.

Simon Gann has even had the audacity to claim that he is not involved in any cons and that his brother is simply living through him.

He told the Tampa Bay Timess that he, not Jordan, went to an exclusive preparatory school, took college classes at age 12, studied at Harvard, MIT and Stanford University. And he’s the one who is about to get $500-million for developing an algorithm that will help record companies increase revenues by 9 percent.

Of course Simon Gann could not provide any documentation.

The Tampa Bay Times said that officials at Harvard, MIT and Stanford said they had no record of either of the Gann Twins taking classes there. The exclusive St. John’s Preparatory School in Danvers, MA., said their records show Simon attended in 1996-97, but there was no indication he graduated. Simon declined to say who was purchasing his algorithm.

Simon Gann arrives in Las Vegas

Now, Simon Gann arrives in Las Vegas and has no problem finding victims in Sin City.

The 8 News Now I-Team reported that Simon Gann was spotted in Las Vegas.

Simon Gann purportedly even emailed a Menlo Park Police officer, Felicia Byars, who has been playing a game of cat and mouse with Gann, and his email was tracked to have come from Las Vegas.

Simon Gann was arrested In Las Vegas on a fugitive warrant on May 5, 2012 and sent back to Byars, who no doubt probably couldn’t wait to get him back behind bars.

Unfortunately, he seems to have slipped through the cracks, yet again, because he was back in Vegas shortly after his arrest lining up more victims.

After Simon Gann arrived in Vegas, there’s likely really no accurate count as to the true amount of victims.

He has reportedly been seen at one of the downtown Las Vegas casinos, where he recently went by the name of Ari Channis and told one of his familiar tales.

He said that he counts cards like Dustin Hoffman’s character in Rain Man because he has Asperger’s syndrome.

Simon Gann seems to be a true chameleon adapting himself to each and every situation.

Although Las Vegas can be a con man’s paradise, the truth is it is usually the female strippers and gold diggers who take advantage of wealthy men.

Simon Gann, master con man, found a way around that.

He appealed to the women’s greed, and/or their desire to make money.

He met two women on two separate occasions, who have been identified as Jennifer and Samantha.

Basically he told them he could make them a lot of money gambling due to his savant like abilities and they played right into his hands giving him money to bankroll him.

Jennifer is now out $250 while Samantha was more “ripe” and gave Gann $2,000.

Since both of these women were conned after his arrest, Simon Gann is likely still in Sin City continuing his conning ways.

There a lot of money here in Las Vegas and if he targets the “right” women, which he seems to have an innate ability to attract, he may hit pay dirt.

Although the Las Vegas Metro Police do a stellar job of arresting scum buckets and other criminals, many of the people victimized by Simon Gann might not come forward for fear of embarrassment.

Perhaps some of his victims are even married.

He may think he can get lost here in the land of excess indefinitely. The Las Vegas Police, however, have an excellent track record of hunting down fugitives who attempt to make Las Vegas their home, and it will likely only be a matter of time before he is caught.

Based on his past history, when Simon Gann is caught, the big question is will he serve any significant jail time?

Simon Gann and Jordan Gann are career cons and women especially should steer clear of the Gann Twins at all costs!
