It is so sad to see to the uptick in kids killing kids. Children committing murders. In New Jersey, two teenagers murdered 12 year old Autumn Pasquale.
Autumn Pasquale was a nice little 12 year old girl who was last seen early Saturday afternoon riding her White Odyssey BMX bike going to a friends house. She never arrived at her friends house and was reported missing at 9:30 pm, one and half hours past her curfew, when she failed to return home.
Police were notified and the search was on for the beautiful 12 year old who liked BMX bikes, skateboarding and facebook.
Autumn Pasquale’s body was found late Monday in a blue municipal recycling container waiting at the curb for pickup Tuesday, NJ.com reported.
Her bike was found by police inside a small bungalow on East Clayton Avenue in Clayton, NJ, which is the same house Autumn’s body was found outside of the previous night.
It was tragically obvious, at that point, that someone connected with that home on East Clayton Avenue, which is located just 17 houses away, was involved, or had information, in the murder of Autumn Pasquale.
Two teenagers murdered 12 year old Autumn Pasquale and it looks like they murdered her for her bike. FOR A BIKE!
Justin Robinson, 15 and his brother and Donte Robinson, 17 are the teens that have been arrested.
Justin Robinson was facebook friends with Autumn and had invited her to his house only four days before her disappearance.
Fortunately Autumn was not sexually assaulted. She was strangled though and authorities believe she was murdered because the Robinson brothers wanted her bike. What type of kids kill for a bike!
It does make you wonder what type of kids these Robinson boys are. They are reportedly known to trade in stolen BMX bike parts and one had reportedly been arrested in the past.
It appears that they are quite cold-hearted since they were present during the search not letting on that they killed her.
So where are their parents?
The boys father, Alonzo Robinson, has not had contact with his kids for 7 years, since he and his ex-wife were divorced.
There is reportedly another brother who live at the home and, as of yet, he has not been arrested.
Robinson told The Star-Ledger of Newark earlier Tuesday that he was interviewed about his sons’ involvement in Autumn’s disappearance.
The elder Robinson said his sons were known for stealing bikes in the neighborhood and police told him they found bike parts stockpiled in the basement. He said one of the boys had been previously charged for theft. Speculating as to what could have caused his own children to murder someone, he said,
I think someone wanted the girl’s bicycle. Maybe he wanted her bike and resisted, and one of them snatched her off a bike.
Anita Robinson, to her credit, saw something on her son’s facebook page that lead her to contact authorities. Regardless of how the kids were raised or not raised, at least she did the right thing by contacting authorities. It must be tough having murders as children and even tougher turning them in.
Justin and Donte Robinson are charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, disposal of a body, tampering of evidence and theft. 15-year-old Justin was also charged with one count of luring.
Two teenagers murdered 12 year old Autumn Pasqual and right now, they have been charged as juveniles but it is expected that the state will ask for the case to be moved to adult court.
Condolences to Autumn Pasquale’s parents, Jennifer Cornwell and Anthony Pasquale on the loss of their beautiful daughter, Autumn. She would have turned 13 years old last Monday.
