There were 2 deadly shooting in 2 days in Las Vegas.
The first shooting occurred on Thursday when a fight broke out in a convenience an East Las Vegas store.
Chadrick Wilson, 37 was with another man in the store located in the Nellis Blvd and E- Sahara and they were involved in some type of altercation with James Johnson.
The fight escalated and continued in the parking lot of the convenience store and Wilson was shot multiple times. He has since died.
Johnson was on the loose and was apprehended after police received a number of tips.
The LVMPD SWAT Team had to be called out since he would not peacefully surrender.
Johnson, according to My News3, goes by the nickname, “Crazy”.
Accounts vary as to his age, he is either 19 or 20 years old
He is now being held at the Clark County Detention Center and charged with 4 counts – one each of Battery, Coercion, Murder with a deadly weapon and Assault with a deadly weapon.
According to online records, Johnson has a fairly extension arrest record including charge for carrying a concealed weapon, burglary, obstructing a public officer, destroying evidence, possession of methamphetamine and possession of an unregistered firearm.
The second shooting took place at the Twain Palms Apartments located on Twain Ave near Swenson St in East Las Vegas.
Apparently a fight broke out in one of the apartments and the fighting continued into the parking lots area.
There has been talk of a party that was going on.
An unidentified 20 year old victim was watching the fight.
Shot were fired during the scuffle and the 20 year old was shot and died from his injuries.
