
HENDERSON, Nev. — The couple found dead in Henderson, Nev., in an apparent murder suicide have been identified.
Wade Elliott Adams, 45, and his wife Wendy Marie Whitmore , 39, were found dead in their Henderson, Nev. home on Saturday.

Adam’s daughter became concerned after she found money and her father’s key inside her home.
She went to her father’s home, located on Karen Way, to check on her father and discovered the lifeless bodies of Adams and Whitmore,
A concerned citizen contacted police at approximately 11 a.m. after seeing the daughter outside of the home crying.
When police arrived, the daughter told them that she had found her father’s keys and money in her home and had come to the home to check on them.
Whitmore’s cause of death was from a gunshot wound to the chest.
It is believed that Adam’s killed his wife before he overdosed on drugs.
Neighbors have described the couple as friendly and said they were not aware of any problems that the Henderson couple had.
The couple found dead in Henderson, Nev., lived alone in the home and there is no record of any domestic violence issues at the home.
Online postings indicate that Adams was an engineer by trade who had recently lost his job.
The woman’s death is the first homicide in Henderson this year.
