The deadly deep fryer fire that occurred last Saturday, claims another victim.
Claudia Parga, the wife of Polo Rodriguez who was hospitalized, passed away unexpectedly.
Last Saturday the family was having a celebration at their home for a baptism when a deep fryer was accidentally knocked over. The deep fryer was located in an enclosed area on the porch of the home and after it was knocked over, the fire quickly spread.
Polo Rodriguez was reportedly outside in the yard at the home near Maryland Parkway and Hacienda Avenue at 5225 Reader Court and quickly raced into the burning home to save his family.
He emerged from the burning home with his wife and two children and all were reportedly on fire.
Polo Rodriguez passed away from the extensive injuries he suffered while trying to save his family.
He died a hero.
Claudia Parga was hospitalized and it was thought that she was on the road to recovery. According to 8 news now Hugo Robles, Claudia Parga’s father said, ” She was doing better we thought she was going to be okay until this morning, when we got the call and rushed to the hospital”
Sadly, Claudia Parga’s blood pressure became unstable . After numerous attempts to stabilize her, Parga passed away.
The family is now focusing their attention to the two children who have been left parent-less by this horrible tragedy.
