Elderly Florida woman, Jeanette Morris, masterminds savage attack of ex-hubby by having him tied to the back of a truck and dragging him for more than a half a mile.
Jeanette Morris, 61 was married to Robert Hall, 54 from 2007 until 2012. Although they were divorced, they continued to live together because Morris owed Hall $1,300. A written agreement was in place stating that Hall could stay at Morris’ residence until the debt was paid.
Apparently Morris was not too happy that Hall entertained women at the home when Morris wasn’t around so she decided to teach him a lesson.
She enlisted the assistance of her brother, Harold Anderson, 63 and her friend Joan Hobert.
After some drinks at Morris’ home on Tuesday night, Anderson beat Hall and shot him with a stun gun.
Brother and sister than tied Morris, by his ankles, to the back of Hobert’s truck and then the fun began for the three oldsters.
They dragged Hall for approximately a half a mile before deciding to throw him in the back of the truck while they planned their next move.
At some point, Anderson left to go back home.
Hall heard the woman talk about scalping him and then burying him and knew his life was in danger so he escaped, running to a neighbors house.
He’s been hospitalized since Tuesday night in critical condition with a broken pelvis, broken facial bones and bleeding on the brain.
Jeanette Morris has alleged that Hall abused her in the past so why on earth did she continue to live with him?
Morris and her brother thought the whole situation about dragging Hall was funny. According to the Daytona Beach News-Journal, she pumped her fists in the air, apparently excitedly, as she talked about the dragging.
Hobert, has had her share of problems with the law but contends that they were not going to kill him.
Jeanette Morris and her cohorts are now locked up and have been charged conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder and false imprisonment.
