Elinor Indico indicted in death of sister-in-law

Elinor Indico was going through some hard times.

In addition to drug problems, she had no place to stay.

Her brother Aris generously offered to allow her to stay with him and his family, and even drove to California to pick up his sister.

He did warn her that no drugs would be tolerated in his home.

Indico did not stay away from drugs and, after she was caught using drugs in her brother’s home, she was asked to leave.

Instead of leaving, Elinor Indico allegedly murdered her pregnant sister-in-law Ashley Indico on Oct. 16, by stabbing her numerous times.

Ashley Indico had locked herself in the bathroom in an attempt to save her life and that of her unborn child but it was too late.

When police arrived and they had to kick in the bathroom door and found a gruesome crime scene.

Ashley Indico  was dead due to the numerous stab wounds she received  in her neck, head, arm and ankle.

Her two young children were in the apartment during the attack and one of the children ran to a neighbors home to get help for his mother.

The neighbor, a friend of Ahley Indico, tried to get in the home and was told to go away.

She told police that she Elinor Indico screaming and then she heard what she described as “orgasmic moans”.

Indico was arrested on Oct. 17 and indicted by a grand jury on Nov. 8, for  murder with a deadly weapon, manslaughter and child abuse, neglect and endangerment and is being held at the CCDC.

A donation page has been set up for funeral expenses and child care for Ashley Indico’s children.
