In a disappearance that has her family extremely worried, 17-year-old Florida teen Morgan Martin disappeared after stepping outside her home in St. Petersburg to speak with the father of her baby.

She had found out the sex of her baby (a girl) and apparently was eager to share the sex of the baby with the father. She told her mother that she was stepping outside to speak with the, as of yet, unidentified,” boyfriend”.

Her mother, Lean Martin told MyFoxTampaBay.com that she discouraged a relationship between the two saying, “I don’t know, I just told her to quit bothering with it”

Leah Martin, according to ABC news also said, “He said he was going to come over and talk to her and so she told me, ‘Mom, I’m just going to go talk to him” . I told her, ‘Morgan, you don’t want anything to do with him … You’re a kid. If he gets caught with you, he’s going to jail.’”

She left the house without her purse and only had her cellphone with her.

Leah Martin was very upfront in her thoughts about her daughter saying, “I don’t really think she’s alive anymore”

On Charity Orr’s Facebook page, who is a friend of Sierra Cahill, Morgan Martin’s sister, it is noted that Morgan was last seen with Jacobee Flowers.

Although Flowers has not been identified by police, he has been referred to as a 26-year-old man from Kansas City, who was staying in the neighborhood.

Orr’s page also lists a flyers that shows Morgan Marin as a runaway. She explains that on facebook by saying,

Charity Orr “Because thats the only way if the police see her they can pick her up if she was listed as anything else the police couldnt pick her up and bring her home … Daniel her baby daddy picked her up 1 in the moorning and we havent seen or heard from her sense no one has something has happend to her and we jus trying to find her and save her.”

Morgan is described as 5’2”, 175 pounds, with black hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a white tank top, pink jacket with fur around the hood, gray sweat pants and the pink slippers.

According to ABC News, since Morgan didn’t take anything with her when she left the house, a St. Petersburg police spokesman Mike Puetz said this has caused to believe that it is not a normal set of circumstances.

Puetz also said that although Morgan had run away from home in the past, “There’s a difference between a runaway situation and something like this, where you have a set of circumstances suggesting that she has just stopped communicating with all her friends”
