Witnesses estimated that the car he was driving was traveling up to 100 MPH, and that he after the crash he asked if he has arrived at the liquor store yet.

One has permanent brain damage and the other is paralyzed.
In addition to driving drunk, he also had marijuana in his system.
At the time of his arrest, Hosey claimed he had only one beer and said he was driving at approximately 60 MPH.
He has had other encounters with police prior to his most recent arrest.
Hosey did not have a valid Nevada drivers license.
He was pulled over once for speeding and had a license from another state.
He failed to show up for his court date and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
After he was arrested, he was immediately released and given another court date.
At that court appearance Hosey was ordered to obtain a license and attend traffic school and he failed to comply with either directive.

He has repeatedly said that that he is sorry and describes his actions as an “accident”.
