Eric Goodman assault details being kept under wraps

LAS VEGAS — Judge Eric Goodman, the son of current Mayor Carolyn Goodman and former Mayor Oscar Goodman, was found unconscious in a Summer Park restroom on Dec. 15.

Police have been very tight-lipped about about the entire case. When Eric Goodman was found unconscious in the park restroom police released information to the public that an identified male was unconscious and were seeking information.

It took nearly two weeks for his name to be released.

Once his name became public the police and Goodman’s family provided different accounts of what happened to Goodman.

Police have said that Goodman may or may not have been assaulted, while Oscar Goodman said that his son injuries were consistent with an assault.

Oscar Goodman said that his son suffered from a traumatic brain injury and has no recollection of the event.

What exactly does that mean?  Does he remember jogging that day? Did he remember meeting someone? Or is the whole day a complete blank?

Eric Goodman spent time in a rehabilitation facility for his injury before being sent home and has made a full recovery.

But what really happened to him?

The judge who has received low scores when being rated by attorneys has been eerily quiet and his powerful family has been able to command silence from the Las Vegas police department as well as the traditional media.

The case has been anything but transparent which leads to a lot of speculation since the mysterious assault of Eric Goodman certainly reeks of a political cover-up..

Does Eric Goodman have a secret life? When he went out for a supposed jog was he scheduled to meet someone?

Las Vegans have taken to posting their thoughts on social media and a good amount of the postings think that his injury, or assault, resulted from a drug or sex deal that had gone bad.  Some think the Eric Goodman is still in the closet about his sexuality, does not want the public to know that he is gay and used his jogging time to meet men in the park.

Since he is a judge it is possible that someone had it in for him and attacked him from behind.

For now the mysterious circumstances of the injuries that Eric Goodman suffered are known only to him and possibly the police and his powerful parents.
