
The Las Vegas Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon takes place Sunday.
More than 30,000 participants from both the US and 52 countries are expected to participate in the 2013 Las Vegas Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon.
The Marathon begins on the southern part of the Las Vegas strip at the Luxor Festival Lot at 4 p.m, which is located next to the Mandalay parking lot just south of Dewey road
A Health Expo precedes the event at the Las Vegas Convention Center on Friday and Saturday offering free samples as well as sales of merchandise targeted to athletic minded individuals, although anyone may attend.
Admission is free and there is a $10 charge for parking.

There will be plenty of entertainment with multiple bands performing on various stages that have been set up along the course and plenty of food to prepare the runners beforehand with nourishing, healthy brunches and numerous after parties to celebrate afterwards.
For those that live in the Las Vegas area or are visiting on Rock “n” roll Marathon weekend, the Sunday Marathon causes chaos throughout Las Vegas because of road closures so it is best to be prepared beforehand and allow extra time for travelling.
The Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon begins at Mandalay Bay and ends in the parking lot adjacent to the Mirage.
Along the way, runners will travel north on Las Vegas Blvd before turning around and heading back.
