Las Vegas, better known as Sin City, is often referred to as an adult-oriented playground, however, that image is cast aside when it comes to honoring Veterans.
Nevada joins others states in making sure that Veterans Day is special.
MGM Resorts International with American Airlines and the USO honored 80 disabled veterans along with the families at the Mirage Las Vegas with a four day fun-filled all expenses paid trip.

The highlight of all the activities is the Veterans Day Parade held in downtown Las Vegas.
Billed as, “The Largest Veterans Parade West of the Mississippi”, the parade commences at 10 a.m. on 4th Street with the National Anthem being sung by The Scintas.
A large crowd is expected to watch the procession of Military vehicles, emergency response trucks and Junior ROTC units.
Each year a special group is honored at the Veterans Day Parade and this year The United States Air Force is being recognized.
