EAST SAINT LOUIS, Mo. — A young mother, Michelle Rowling predicted her death in a Facebook post made just five days before her death.
Rowling, 25 of East Saint Louis, has found out that her ex-boyfriend, Montrell Cooper, has been released from jail and she knew in her heart that he was coming for her.
The two had a history of domestic violence incidents.
They were involved in an on-again off-again relationship for approximately three years.
Rowlings had been stabbed in the neck by Cooper in 2012.
He attacked her again in August and had been in jail for that offense.
In the past, Rowling testified on Cooper’s behalf to have his sentence reduced to probation.
Although she did not testify on his behalf for the latest acts of violence, she was reportedly uncooperative with authorities and Cooper was released on probation.
When she found he had been released, Rowling took to Facebook to express her fear.
She didn’t exactly tell her family and friends what was wrong and just said that she received some bad news.
Some of her friends urged her to contact police and Rowling’s said,
THE POLICE. ………….LOL IM GONE B GONE BOUT TIME THEY COME
Unfortunately, she was right.

They responded to the call at the Gompers Public Housing Complex and, according to Fox 2 in St. Louis, they found 25-year-old Michelle Rowling stabbed several times in her apartment.
Cooper’s abandoned SUV has been recovered and a manhunt was underway.

Additional charges will likely be added after police complete their investigation.
