A roommate confessed to murdering Sheila Linke, who had been missing since Jan. 26.
Edward Kopp, accompanied by his attorney, turned himself in to authorities on Tuesday. He confessed to the murder of Sheila Link and told authorities where to find her body in the Arizona desert.
Sheila Linke had rented out part of her home to two roommates, Edward Kopp, 52, and Kathy Atteberry, 46.

She was connected with Atteberry through her job at the Las Vegas Water Reclamation District. According to a source that knew Linke, she had become afraid of Kopp, a convicted felon.
The couple had lived at the home for just about a month.
Kopp was also allegedly abusive to his girlfriend and caused a number of problems, so Link told a friend that she planned to evict the couple.
Linke’s friend became concerned when he did not hear from her again. He had a key to her home, went to check on her and knew immediately that something was wrong, because her cell phone and purse were in the home, her car were parked in the driveway and a candle had been left burning.
A shell from a shotgun was found in the driveway of the home.
Most telling was that her dogs and cats were left without food and water. Those that knew Linke said that her pets were her “babies” and she would never leave them without food or water.
Kopp told police that Linke had a knife in her hand when she attempted to evict the pair. A physical altercation ensued and Kopp admitted that he kicked, punched or choked Linke each time she tried to get up, until she stopped moving.
After murdering Linke, Kopp and Atteberry loaded the body in the back of his truck and camouflaged the body with camping gear. The cold-blooded pair then drove to a bar and went inside to drink, leaving Linke’s body in the truck,
Afterwards they drove to the Arizona desert and dumped the body.
Overall, Atteberry is said to have confirmed Kopp’s account except to say that she did not see a knife and that she was forced to assist Kopp.
She has not yet been charged in connection with the murder of Sheila Linke , and it is not known if any charges will be brought against her.
