LAS VEGAS — Las Vegas resident Sheila Linke has been missing since Jan. 26.
Linke, 53, reportedly was last seen on the 5400 block of Island Breeze Court, which is located in the Northwestern part of the valley near Ann Road and Jones Boulevard.
Linke is employed in a professional position with environmental services by the county and it is very unlikely, according to those that know her, for Linke to simply disappear.
The last person that she spoke to became concerned when he had not heard from her again, and went to check up on her. She was not at home, however, her purse and keys were reportedly found in the home and her car was still at the home.
Her pets were left without any food or water.
According to those close to her, Sheila Linke treated her animals very well and would never disappear of her own accord and simply leave her pets unattended.
Linke is divorced and has no family members residing in the local area. She shared her residence with two roommates.
Exactly one week prior to Linke’s disappearance, another woman from Las Vegas was reported missing,
Irma Mkrtchyan was last seen Jan. 19 in the Southwestern part of valley.
Mkrtchyan is a real estate agent who had gone to meet a client the day she disappeared. Two text messages were sent from her phone informing her ex-husband and her employers that she would be out of town until the following Friday.
Her car was found at an apartment complex not too far from her home.
