Pregnant woman murdered, Vindalee Smith, had a married boyfriend

The pregnant woman murdered, Vindalee Smith, had a married boyfriend.
Smith, who was eight months pregnant, was found murdered in her Flatbush apartment in Brooklyn.
She had a gaping open wound on her neck and neither she nor her fetus survived the brutal attack.
She was scheduled to be married the very next day and very little information has been made available.
As mentioned in the first article about Vindalee Smith, pregnant women are at an increased risk of being on the receiving end of domestic violence.
In this case, however, something far more sinister might be a play.
Vindalee Smith was a very religious Seventh Day Adventist and was scheduled to marry Andrew Jackman.
It is not known if Jackman was the father of the baby that Smith was carrying and many friends have said they did not know Jackman Some reportedly did not even know his name.
Jackman is married so there could be no legal marriage since he was a married man.
Another troubling piece of the case is that a bizarre letter was found in Smith’s home.
The note said, “I will kill 1 pregnant woman a month starting now until Lee Boyd Malvo is set free!” That note referred to one of the Washington snipers who is currently in jail.
Is there really a lunatic killer of pregnant women on the loose who will carry through with his threat of killing one pregnant woman a month? Or, is it something much more sinister, such as the work of someone close to Smith like her married fiancé trying to cover up the crime?
Or is Jackman completely innocent and was actually planning on telling his bride to be on the morning of their wedding that he simply could not marry her because he is already married?
