
Another fugitive has been arrested in Las Vegas.
It seems like fugitives think they can get lost amongst the glitz and glitter of Las Vegas and not be apprehended.
Not for Darren Crockett and numerous other fugitive who are caught in Las Vegas.
This week the Criminal Apprehension (CATS) team arrested another fugitive, Darren Crockett.
Darren “Gato” Crockett, was wanted in connection with a shooting in Surprise, AZ that occurred on August 5th.
Crockett allegedly shot a 26 year old man twice, once in the head and once in the leg.
The victim was airlifted to a local hospital and remains in critical condition.
The surpriseaz,gov website says that they have been actively seeking Crockett since the shooting and on September 5th discovered that he was staying at a relatives house in Las Vegas.
They then coordinated with the CATS team in Las Vegas and Crockett was arrested that same day.
The elite CATS Team is a violent crime task force that is comprised of detectives from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), Henderson Police Department and agents from the FBI.
In addition to the arrest Arizona fugitive Darren Crockett, there have been numerous other fugitives arrested in Las Vegas.
Only last week, Reinhold Neumann , an Ohio fugitive on the run for many years was arrested by the Las Vegas Criminal Apprehension Team (CATS). Neumann has been working in a Las Vegas at a major Casino and was wanted in the shooting of two Ohio Police Officers.
In July, yet another fugitive was arrested in Las Vegas.
German fugitive, Ulrich Felix Anton Englers also known as Ulrich “Richie” Engler was wanted for financial crimes that defrauded thousands of investors of $100 million dollars. He was on the run since August 2007.

Crockett is currently being held at the Clark County Detention Center(CCDC) and is in the process of being extradited to Arizona where he is expected to face charges of attempted homicide and two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
