Back in November, Michael Bessey was shot while he was driving his car on I-15 near the Valley of Fire Exit.

He was able to contact police, had emergency surgery and recovered from the injuries he suffered in the attack.

He spoke to Police and more and more details emerged about his personal life.

He was in the midst of a divorce from his estranged wife,  Amy Bessey.

Amy Bessey stood to receive a large amount of money, from life insurance and Social Security benefits if Michael Bessey died before the divorce was finalized and suspicion soon shifted to his family.

The Bessey’s 20-year-old adopted son Michael was arrested, along with his wife’s brother, Richard Pearson leaving many wondering what exactly was Amy Bessey’s involvement in the plot to murder her husband.

Amy Bessey has turned herself in, after first pleading with her husband to drop the charges.

Robert Bessey had said that the close relationship between Amy Bessey and adopted son, Michael Bessey was the main reason for the divorce.

More details have recently been released and Amy Bessey has been reportedly romantically involved with her son.

After Michael was arrested, he sent his mother a letter asking her to ask Robert Bessey to drop the charges.  In that letter, he reportedly told his mother, “I miss touching you”.

Others have since come forward providing information about the tawdry relationship between the two.

There were also jailhouse calls between the two that further revealed the nature of the relationship between mother and son.
