The Jodi Arias murder trial is being compared to the Casey Anthony trial.
Both Jodi Arias and Casey Anthony are women who are both fairly young, attractive and apparently troubled women who seem to tell tall tales and are possibly extremely self-absorbed.
If Jodi Arias is acquitted, as she has predicted she will be, she will become the second most hated woman in America.
Casey Anthony still retains top-honors in that category.
Jodi Arias is on trial for the first degree murder of her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander, 30. He worked as a motivational speaker and insurance salesman.
He was found murdered in June of 2008 in his five bedroom luxury home in Mesa, AZ.
The two did not know each other for very long.
They met at a work convention in Las Vegas in 2006 and dated for several months before breaking up in June 2007.
During that short period, they traveled together and she became a Mormon, Alexander’s faith.
After they broke up, she moved over 200 miles to be with him.
The two reportedly still had sex but Travis Alexander was reportedly interested in other women and was supposed to travel with another woman to Cancun, Mexico, which some speculate may have enraged Jodi Arias.
Now she is on his trial for murdering him. For some paying close attention to the Jodi Arias murder trial, she has now changed her look, perhaps, in an attempt, to look “innocent”.
Of course there are two aides to every story and we, as Americans, are supposed to have faith in our legal system.
Sometimes that faith can be hard to come by and you have to wonder why there is even a trial, in light of what Arias has already admitted to.
Jodi Arias’ story has changed numerous times.
After Travis Alexander was found brutally murdered, friends of Travis’ immediately told authorities about the woman that they believed was stalking Alexander and could very well have murdered him. Her name is Jodi Arias.
She was questioned and denied being at Travis Alexander’s home.
Then her story changed.
She admitted that she was there when two men killed him. She says she was afraid to say anything.
Her next version of events was that she accidentally dropped his camera, while he was in the shower, and he became enraged.
She was so scared that she had no choice but to stab him 29 times because he was a violent person.
She also had access to a gun and finished him off with a shot to the head.
Why did she have a gun with her? Was that the gun that she claimed was stolen from her grandparents home a week earlier?
Friends of Travis Alexander say that she stalked Alexander.
Alexander reportedly discovered that she hacked into his facebook account and she also had reportedly slashed the tires of his car.
Alexander’s water-logged camera was found and investigators found images on the camera, on a memory card, showing Jodi Arias and Travis Alexander having sex on the day of the murder as well as photos of Alexander posing nude in the shower moments before he was murdered.
In an unbelievably bizarre twist, the camera also contained images of Alexander after the murder and a picture of Arias dragging his body.
The photos were likely taken accidentally when the camera was dropped.
What will the outcome of the Jodi Arias murder trial be?
Will she be found innocent as she has predicted, or will she be sentenced to death?
Will her new “bookworm” look assist her in convincing jurors that she is innocent?
