The whole story sounded a bit hokey from the get go. Fortunately Brenna Schmid-Webster has been located in Los Angeles

Brenna Schmid-Webster missing in Las Vegas. She was allegedly last seen at her home near St. Rose Parkway and Gilespie Street before she disappeared.

The reports are a bit conflicting as to when she actually disappeared.

The Las Vegas Sun, says she disappeared Friday evening at approximately 10pm.

Another report from, Fox 5 Vegas says that Brenna’s roommates, Chanel Pineda and Sasha Frost said that Brenna, “was in good spirits as they were getting ready for bed Friday night” and that when Schmid-Webster didn’t show up to work at Lucille’s Smokehouse Saturday morning, that triggered a red flag.

It appears that all three roommates were together Friday night until Chanel and Sasha went to bed. What time was Brenna scheduled to work at Lucille’s? Was she gone when the girls awoke?

Fox 5′s report continues that, Schmid-Webster sent a text to Pineda saying she was going to work that day.

Her phone has been off ever since. Her roommates don’t think Schmid-Webster ran off, since all that’s missing from her bedroom is her makeup bag and phone charger.

If Brenna was going to work that day, then the text came on Saturday? It would not have been Friday if they all saw each other before bed since Lucille’s closes at 11pm. Lucille’s is open from 11am until 11pm on Friday and Saturday’.

So was the text on Saturday? What time on Saturday?

The two roommates filed their missing person report on Monday.

The times and dates are just not adding up.

I located Brenna Schmid-Webster’s facebook page. It says that she “friended” 8 people 10 hours ago. Did her roommates do that in her name or was Brenna herself on facebook? Here is the screenshot that I took on July 31st at 11:30pm PST.

The activity column is what is showing as 10 hours ago.

Let’s hope that there is just some confusion and that Brenna will be found safe.

(there is also a report of a 15 year old girl missing from the same vicinity. Her name is Christy Dawn Marie Pfister and she was visiting Las Vegas on summer nreal. Officials said she is a 5-foot-7, 140-pound white female with blond hair and blue eyes.

She may be driving a 1992 red Ford Ranger with Nevada license plate 861-YAU, officials said.

Officials urge anyone with information on Schmid-Webster’s whereabouts to contact Metro Police’s Missing Person Detail at (702) 828-3111.

As far as her friending people on FB after she disappeared, if u request a friend on FB & they do not respond right away ur page doesn’t show u friending them until they respond. So that is one question u can answer. Also, Clark county doesn’t allow for a missing persons report to be filed until 48hrs have passed. Since there wasn’t a determined time that she disappeared (only between the roommates going to bed & when she didn’t show for her shift), the cops would go off of 48hrs from her start of shift Sat. Monday is 48hrs from Sat. The roommates were not able to file the report sooner. On a last note, it seems that u are going off of what the news is publishing & do not know for a fact any of the actual facts of the case.

    I recently had a friend spend 5yrs in prison on a murder charge (that he was innocent of) because of hearsay like this. It really bugs me when people “assume the facts.” If someone wants to call themselves a journalist, they should actually research their topic. This game of telephone that this journalist is playing is just silly & hurtful.

  As far as the waiting period, according to the Metro Police website, here is what they say about missing adults;
  “Myths still prevail that you must wait up to 72 hours before reporting any person missing. The fact is, there is no waiting period to report a person missing to police. There are also myths that all adult missing persons are the victims of kidnaping, murders or some other criminal act.
  
  The fact is that the vast majority of reported missing persons are found or voluntarily return home within 48-72 hours after being reported.”

    I apologize. I did report my gf one night & they did allow me to file the report, but urged me to wait since they would be sitting on it until the 72hrs had passed. They also informed me that since there was no sign of foul play that there was a good likelihood that it would only be collecting dust. Please do, like Chanel has asked, use your network to help find this young lady, rather than pointing fingers at the people who are trying to find her.

      I did send Chanel an e mail with the same info that I requested here.
      
      I think the time discrepancies should be cleared up because any detail however minute could really help.

        Maybe you should have contacted chanel and ask your questions before posting your story. Isn’t that what journalists do…research, and then report? Not publish assumptions? You were able to pull up Brenna’s FB page, you could have done the same to contact Chanel or Sasha, before you go spreading negative energy into this very stressful situation. Brenna is missing, fact. Roomates and family are worried, fact. She drives a 92 red ford ranger, fact. Last seen Friday night,fact. Never showed up for work, fact. You are an ass…that is a fact! A real journalist,or a human with a heart big enough for anyone other than herself would retract this story and publish the facts.

  Chanel – we are trying to help you get the story out. Another girl allegedly disappeared from the same area.
  The interview that you gals gave with Fox is confusing so maybe you can clear it up
  1.)The report says you and your roommate were both with Brenna on Friday night as you were getting ready for bed.
  What time was that?.
  What time did you last see her in the house?
  Did you see her leave the house Friday night? Did you see her Saturday morning when you got up?
  2.) The interview you gave to Fox 5 says you were worried when she didn’t show up for work that day.
  That would be Saturday, right?
  You said she sent you a text message that she would be at work that day.
  Did you wake up and find her gone and then you received the text message?
  What time did you receive the text message?
  What day did you contact the police? Did they file a report right away or tell you to wait?
  
  We will try to help get the word out. The details provided in the Fox 5 interview are a little sketchy and as I said the times just don’t jive so maybe all of what you said was not published.
  If you clear it up, it might help in locating Brenna.

    These are questions for a police investigation & you are no cop. It seems like the questions you would want to ask if you actually wanted to help (& not just get a story), would be more along the lines of:
    Is there anywhere she frequented?
    Where would she go if she just wanted to get away?
    
    Your questions seem to be more out of morbid curiosity than helpfulness. If u want to help, start by posting a better pic of her, rather than a FB screenshot of your convoluted “proof.” You are really a nasty human being.

      omg one minute you’re apologizing and in another you are going off.
      
      Here’s the deal – I would think that if someone is looking for someone that they will be wanting to provide as much info as possible.
      
      If someone, in this case, me. points out that the times do not jive and seeks clarification to better understand when Brenna was last seen, I would think the info would be gladly provided.
      
      Me personally I would go to the ends of the earth and provide what ever info is needed – that’s me.
      
      If they can’t because of the police investigation than just say so.
      
      They are valid questions. I am analytical by nature so perhaps that is why it seems morbid to you – I don’t know.
      If the thread provides useful non-insulting info, I will be happy to keep it open so that a missing person might be able to be located.

There is no need for argument. Brenna, a good friend of mine, is a responsible young lady, especially when it comes to her job! Her room mates are trying the very best the can to find her with the information they have. I have known Brenna for 6 years, and this is not like her, not at all! We are trying to spread the word so Brenna can come home, NOT ARGUE ABOUT IT! Considering you don’t know Brenna personally, I ask that you not point fingers, especially at the ones who are out looking for her. Your job is to report the story, leave the rest up to the ones close to her.
