The Christopher Dorner manhunt is on with officers in California and Nevada trying to find Dorner before more people are killed.
Dorner worked for the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and was fired in 2008 for making false statements.
In a online manifesto posted to facebook, that has served as a chilling blueprint of the actions that the intended to take, he detailed his version of ongoing LAPD police corruption and racism and lamented that his name was forever damaged.

He said that he knew that he would be vilified by the LAPD and wrote,
Unfortunately, this is a necessary evil that I do not enjoy but must partake and complete for substantial change to occur within the LAPD and reclaim my name.
He described in great detail the actions that occurred, surrounding his termination, and named the names of the people, within the LAPD, that he intended to target by harming their family members.
One of the people mentioned in the Christopher Dorner manifesto is Randy Quan, who is mentioned 5 times. Randy Quan represented Dorner at the hearing that ultimately led to his termination. In the Christopher Dorner manifesto, he wrote,
I never had the opportunity to have a family of my own, I’m terminating yours. Quan, Anderson, Evans, and BOR members Look your wives/husbands and surviving children directly in the face and tell them the truth as to why your children are dead.
Chillingly, Randy Quan’s daughter, Monica Quan, 28, and her fiance, Keith Lawrence, 27, were found shot to death in their car in Irvine, California on Sunday night.
Authorities issued an “officer safety warning” for all of the officers mentioned so that protective measures can be employed before more people are murdered.
On Wednesday, he tried to hijack a boat in San Diego and Dorner’s LAPD badge and an ID were found near San Diego’s airport and were turned over to police early Thursday.
Early Thursday morning, two police officers assigned to protect an officer named in the Christopher Donner manifest in Corona, California were alerted by a civilian who spotted a man resembling Dorner. The officers followed him and Dorner opened fire as they approached him. One of the officers was wounded.
Later on, in neighboring Riverside, California, two officers on routine patrowere ambushed at a stop light, said Riverside Lt. Guy Toussaint. One officer died and the other was in surgery.
Authorities have issued an “officer safety warning” for all of the officers mentioned so that protective measures can be employed before more people are murdered.
Irvine police Chief David Maggard said,
We have strong cause to believe Dorner is armed and dangerous. The FBI is assisting in the search for Dorner.
The Christopher Dorner manhunt also encompasses Las Vegas since Dorner mentioned that he lived in Las Vegas and he reportedly owns a home in Southwest Las Vegas just miles off the strip on Ft. Apache Road.
Although he has not been spotted in Las Vegas, undercover officers are watching the home.
Dorner was believed to be driving a 2005 blue or gray Nissan Titan, with California license plate 8D83987 or 7X09131 which was found on fire at Bear Mountain, California today. There were tracks in the snow, presumably Dorner’s, leading away from the vehicle.
Also, Anderson Cooper revealed that a package from Dorner was received on February 1 but that he did not know about it until today. The package reportedly contained a DVD of court testimony, with a Post-It note signed by Dorner that said, “I never lied! Here is my vindication.”
He has a prior military background, is believed to be armed with assault weapons and has the tools to track others.
He appears to be fully prepared to die and wants to carry out the plans he detailed in the Christopher Dorner manifesto.
The search has also expanded to Mexico.
