LAS VEGAS — A stabbing at McDonald’s Thursday morning has left one man dead.
Two men were inside the McDonald’s restaurant located across the street from the Palace Station Hotel and Casino on West Sahara Avenue and Teddy Drive.
The men reportedly argued inside the restaurant over a cell phone.
The argument escalated and continued outside of the fast food restaurant when one of the men was fatally stabbed.
When police arrived on the scene they observed that a man was stabbed in the upper chest area. He was transported to University Medical Center where he later died.
According to My News 3, a friend of the victim said that his friend was stabbed in the neck when he refused to allow the man to use his cell phone. He said his friend left behind a wife and three children.
Both men involved in the fight are said to live in the area near where the stabbing took place.
One man was said to reside in the Siegel Suites weekly apartments located on West Sahara Avenue and Teddy Drive, and the other lives in one of the numerous apartments located on Teddy Drive.
The neighborhood surrounding the Palace Station Hotel and Casino is dotted with sex offenders who live in the area. There are also reports of assaults and other disturbances regularly reported in the area. At nearly the exact location where the fatal stabbing at McDonald’s took place, there was a report for disturbing the peace reported on April 16.
A suspect has not yet been arresting for the stabbing at McDonald’s that left a man dead.
