In a case that just makes you sick to your stomach, a Henderson woman abuses her tiny dog in Boston at a train station.
Ana Prado, 26, beat her little Yorkie Terrier in a bathroom at the Boston train station Thursday morning
Witnesses saw Prado pick the dog up in the air by it’s leash strangling it and punched and kicked the defenseless animal.
She punched the dog at least three times, in addition to kicking the dog, according to statements made by witnesses.
A female Transit Police officer entered the Women’s restroom and escorted Prado outside where she was arrested. Prado told the officers at the time of her arrest she was in Boston for a court appearance in Suffolk Superior Court for a charge of drug trafficking.
Prado was taken to Transit Police HQ for booking and appeared in Boston Municipal Court the same day.
Seriously, what kind of monster does that?
Perhaps she was upset about her upcoming court appearance or perhaps her mind is completely fried due to the the drugs and she took out her frustrations on her little dog named Dolce, who was wearing a pink bow and dressed in a striped sweater.
She was arrested and pleaded not guilty on Thursday to charges of animal cruelty.
On Friday, she pleaded not guilty to the drug trafficking charges and was ordered to wear a GPS monitoring device and told that she could not leave the state unless she has permission.
Dolce was turned over to the Animal Control in Boston and evaluated by a veterinarian for any injuries.
There should be a rule that people that abuse animals should not be allowed to own animals
Hopefully Prado will not get Dolce back.
There are probably scores of compassionate people that would like to adopt the very tiny, adorable Yorkie.
