In a case that has captured worldwide attention, it is unfortunate news that 7 year old Isabel Celis is still missing 2 months later.
Mounds of circumstantial evidence continue to point to the family however that “evidence”, at this point in time, is apparently not strong enough for authorities to charge the parents, Becky and Sergio Celis with their daughter’s disappearance.
One of the more disturbing aspects of the case is the presence of blood found in the Celis home. In Isabel’s bedroom.
Another very disturbing aspect of the case is that Sergio Celis, has been prohibited from having contact with his other children. Also, Child Protective Services, has made visits to the family prior to Isabel’s disappearance.
TusconNewsNow has reported that the Department of Economic Security would not say whether the father, Sergio Celis, has been reunited with his sons following a no contact order.
Rececca Celis was at Kino Stadiumin Tuscon, AZ last week in an attempt to keep her daughter’s disappearance alive in the news. Sergio Celis was not present.
Statistically, the odds of Isabel’s safe return are slim. The first 3 hours of a child’s disappearance are the most important and, according to the parents, neither of them had checked on Isabel all night long. Her own mother, Rebecca, allegedly did not check on her even before she left for work which has led to increasing speculation that she know more about her daughter’s disappearance than she has disclosed to authorities.
If indeed she was abducted or harmed by anyone outside of the family, it is still difficult to pinpoint the exact time that Isabel Celis disappeared since her family did not see her for approximately 9 hours since they did not check on her when she was sleeping.
The reward on the family’s website, Bring Isabel Home, has climbed to over $60,000.
If you have information regarding Isabel, you are urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 520-822-7463 or the Tucson police at 520-791-4441.
