Most people have a built in brain “wiring” that helps people grow up into productive members of society. Sometimes those “productive” people get caught up in something or do something wrong and they then feel bad about it. In this chilling case, Las Vegas teen Connor Sherwin shows no remorse after beating parents leaving his stepfather with severe injuries.
18 year old Las Vegas teen Connor Sherwin shows no remorse after beating parents. None. In fact, in a jailhouse interview with Sherwin, he thought it was funny and could be seen smiling and laughing throughout the video.

During his Fox 5 interview from jail that lasted for over 9 minutes, Sherwin described his actions as insanity mixed with revenge.
He allegedly entered the home of this mother, Mary Maser, and stepfather, David Maser on Saturday night.
Connor apparently lied in wait for his stepfather to come home from work and then attacked him with a baseball bat when he arrived. Next he tied his stepfather up and dragged him to the pool which was almost empty.
He then waited for his mother who arrived a few hours later. She too was tied up and placed in the pool. She finally managed to escape and contacted police.
At one point in the interview, he said that he simply wanted to get money “off of them”
When police arrived, Sherwin was waiting for them on the front lawn. Connor also said he was locked up for mental health issues and was upset that his parents would not take him in.
There were a few “off” items about his demeanor. Other than the laughing and smiling throughout the interview as he recalled the beating, he seemed to suck in a lot of air through his teeth.
Although Las Vegas teen Connor Sherwin shows no remorse after beating parents he did say a few times that his actions were not premeditated.
He also went on to say that he had a gun that he could not find and if the police would have come while his parents were tied up, he would have, “shot it out” with cops.
Probably the most chilling moment as when he was asked if he would like to apologize for what he had done,. Smiling, Sherwin said he would like to make an insider joke to his stepfather and looking directly at the camera, he said, “They told me to do it”.
Is Connor truly mentally ill, a psychopath, plain evil or perhaps a suffering from a combination of issues.
Fox 5 reports that according to the police report filed, his stepfather David Maser sustained multiple injuries, including a punctured left eye, a fractured right hand, a bitten left ear with a piece of the ear missing, a lacerated spleen, a skull fracture and kidney injuries, police said in the report.
How was Fox 5 able to interview Sherwin? Had a lawyer not been appointed yet to appropriate advise him? If indeed Sherwin suffers from mentally illness, could it be construed that he was taken advantage of by submitting to the interview?
Sherwin has been charged with a total of 8 counts; 1 count each of Violation of a restraining order, Burglary and Attempted Murder. 2 counts of first degree kidnapping and counts related to battery for domestic violence.
