Las Vegas woman arrested for sex with pit bull

A Las Vegas woman has been arrested for  having sex with a pit bull or at least trying to.

Kara Vandereyk, 23, was spotted in her yard  on North 16th Street near Bonanza Road and Bruce Street in North Las Vegas.

It is not known if she actually had intercourse with the pit bull but when officers arrived she was naked and continued to touch the dog in a suggestive way.

Vandereyk told the police officers that she is bipolar and the officers thought that she was under the influence of drugs.

Looking at her photo above, she looks like she might be a methamphetamine addict since her face shares similar characteristics of those who abuse methamphetamine.

Perhaps Kara Vandereyk is a seriously mentally ill person who had no clue between differentiating right from wrong and is in desperate need of specialized medical attention, or perhaps she is a methamphetamine abuser who is so out of her head that she does not know what she is doing.

Whatever the case may be, she certainly needs intensive help so that she does not try to have sex with a pit bull again.

It is not known if the pit bull was hers and the dog has been turned over to animal control.

Vandereyk was arrested and charged with open and gross lewdness.  She does have a prior record with arrests for minor offenses.
