Mussah Zennah, a 26 year old Las Vegas woman receives 8-20 years for DUI crash.
The crash occurred in the late evening of December 2011 at approximately 11:30pm.
Mussah Zennah was behind the wheel of a 2002 BMW X5 that was involved in a 3 car crash.
The crash happened at the intersection of West Tropicana Ave and Rainbow Blvd in the South West area of Las Vegas.
Zennah had run a red light and hit a 2000 Toyota Camry who was going through the intersection on a green light.
The collision between the BMW and the Toyota Camry actually pushed the Camry over a raised median on West Tropicana Avenue.
The Camry in turn lifted which caused the Camry hit the third car.
The two occupants of the the Toyota Camry, Milka Ninkovic and Tatjana Vekic were seriously injured.
Fortunately the driver of the third car, Jennifer Leveritt, was not injured.
Zennah was arrested for the December, 2011 crash and charged with Dui-substantial Bodily Harm-alcohol.
She allegedly suffered minor injuries in the crash.
It appears that Zenna has a prior arrest record that stems from an arrest approximately 2 months before the crash.
She was arrested for one count each of Resist Police Officer-no Weapon, Unsafe Turn W/o Appropriate Signal, Failure To Drive In Travel Lane and Fail To Yield To Emergency Vehicle.
Fox 5 Vegas reports that Mussah Zennah received her sentence today for the DUI crash.
She was sentenced to serve between 8 and 20 years for her role in the drunk driving crash.
