Man falls off subway platform in Sweden then robbed. Sounds like something you would read about occurring in the New York subways but it didn’t happen in New York; it happened in Sweden and the robbery is caught on tape!
A man fell off a subway platform in Sweden and, while laying on the tracks injured, he was robbed and left to die.
Apparently the man was drunk and on his way home from a party when he fell right off the subway platform and was knocked unconscious.
A nearby pedestrian jumped off the platform to get to the victim but he had ulterior motives.
He was not trying to help the unconscious man.
He robbed him.
Then the thief without a conscience hopped back on the platform and left the victim lying there.
The victim was then hit by an oncoming train .
He fell into a coma but survived suffering serious injuries.
According to Yahoo News, many people in Sweden are expressing shock and outrage at this senseless act on such a vulnerable victim.
We were able to locate the video and must warn you, it is shocking.

You can clearly see the man fall full force right off the subway platform.
While he is lying there unconscious, the thief effortlessly jumps right down and robs the man.
He then easily hops back up on the subway platform and makes his way out of the station.
He even smiled, unbeknownst to him, right at the surveillance camera.

The video has been broadcast on a number of local television stations in Sweden including their version of America’s Most Wanted.
They are calling it one of the most ruthless crimes in the show’s 22 year old history.
Because of the great overage that has clearly captured the perpetrators face and the horrendous crime he apparently committed, they feel confident that he will be apprehended quickly.
Based on the date visible in the surveillance video, it appears the crime took place on September 8th at approximately 3:30 am.
