Beautiful young Starbucks Barista Whitney Heichel found dead and a 24-year-old male neighbor has been arrested.
Police Chief Craig Junginger said at a news conference that her body was found on Larch Mountain, a remote area east of Gresham, Oregon.
After kissing her husband Clint goodbye, Whitney Heichel left her home at a little before 7 am on Tuesday morning to drive to her job, a two minute drive, at a nearby Starbucks.
A supervisor contacted her husband when she failed to arrive for her shift. He looked for her and when he could not find her, he then contacted police.

Volunteers who were handing out missing persons flyers only hours after her disappearance found her Black SUV, at approximately 11am, located in a Wood Village Walmart parking lot. The passenger side window of the SUV had been shattered.
There were receipts from a few gas stations further fueling suspicion of foul play.
Her cell phone was also found about 6 miles from her home.
From the onset, police said that stranger on stranger murder is fairly rare leading to initial speculation that they may have had more information than they were revealing to the public.
There was reportedly surveillance coverage at a gas station that showed Whitney Heichel in the passenger seat with a then unidentified male in the driver’s seat who seemed nervous and suspicious on the morning that she disappeared.
Apparently that suspicious person turned out to be 24 year old Jonathan Holt.
Holt, lived in the same apartment complex as Whitney Heichel, proving the police theory that someone may have been watching the beautiful young Barista or been familiar with her habits.
