Is thrill killer Miranda Barbour a serial killer?

Miranda Barbour claims she murdered others

Miranda Barbour is a liar, heroin addict and master manipulator according to her father Sonny Dean.

Barbour 18, and her husband Elytte Barbour, 22, were arrested for murdering a man on Veteran’s Day in 2013 that they met on craigslist. They couple had only been married for three weeks and had recently relocated from South Carolina to Selinsgrove , Penn.

Troy LaFerrara, 42, was murdered by the couple in a brutal manner. Elytte Barbour claimed that he hid in the backseat of their vehicle while his wife and LaFerrara were in the front seat. He said when she gave the signal, he wrapped a cord around the man’s neck while his new wife plunged a knife into the defenseless victim.

Last month Miranda Barbour claimed in an interview with The Daily Item that she has killed at least 22 men. She said she stopped counting at 22 and claims that she can pinpoint the locations of her victims on a map.

Did Miranda Barbour murder many men or was LeFerrara her only victim?

The murderous couple seems to enjoy the limelight and authorities are still investigating the case. Elytte Barbour has cultivated media attention and gave interviews before he was arrested and claimed that his wife was a prostitute.

Miranda Barbour was a troubled child. She was the victim of sexual abuse in her native Alaska by her uncle and spent most of her life in and out of treatment centers. She claims she committed her first murder at the young age of 13 when she was part of a satanic cult.

Her father and family, for the most part, dismiss her multiple murder claims although her father does believe she may be involved in one other murder. He claims that he is in favor of the death penalty for his daughter if that is what the jury decides.
