LAS VEGAS — Another domestic violence murder rocks Las Vegas, something that, unfortunately, is becoming all too commonplace in Las Vegas.
The latest deadly domestic violence incident occurred on Friday evening.
Police responded to the Canyon Points Apartments located on East Harmon Avenue and found two women that had been the victims of gunshot wounds. One woman was dead and the other women was hospitalized for her injuries.
A juvenile was also present at the residence and, fortunately, was not harmed.
Police are seeking Robert Brown, 42 as a person of interest in the deadly shooting.
According to 8 News Now, Brown was dating the deceased victim.
That scenario is in line with the findings from the Violence Police Center. Their study has shown that most of the women killed knew their attackers.
The majority of the homicide victims, a total of 51%, were the wives, common-law wives, ex-wives, or girlfriends of the murderers.
It’s a frightening statistic.
Robert Brown is white, 5’6″ and weighs approximately 170 lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He is believed to be driving a red 2006 Nissan Pathfinder that has personalized plates, ARIYL
