Kansas City Chiefs LB Jovan Belcher kills girlfriend and then himself and we are all left wondering, why Jovan why?

Jovan Belcher 25, showed up at a home in Kansas City and murdered his girlfriend.

The murder victim, Kasandra Perkins, was only 22.

Perkins was murdered right in front of her own mother. Tragic.

Perkins’ family says the couple seemed happy and they have no idea why he would murder her.

After murdering Perkins, Jovan Belcher drove to the team’s practice facility, located next to Arrowhead Stadium, and blew his brains out, right in front of Coach Romeo Crennel and General Manager, Scott Pioli

He and his girlfriend had a baby together. Their daughter is only 3 months old and will never know her parents due to Belcher’s actions.

It is not known what type of issues Jovan Belcher was having, or thought he was having, and there were no known indicators of any issues.

To those that knew him, he worked hard and made a number of charity appearances.

Obviously something was troubling the Long Island native. Whatever it was that caused him to murder his own girlfriend, his actions are unforgivable.

This guy should not be idolized in the media.

Kids should not look up to this guy or want to be like him.

He’s a murderer and selfishly killed his girlfriend.

Personally, I think people should be allowed to end their own lives, as long as they are deemed to be competent. If you want to kill yourself – go ahead. Why take others with you?

It’s especially heinous that Jovan Belcher would leave his own child parent-less. And incredibly selfish.

Usually in these types of situations, it has to with jealously.  Could his girlfriend have been dating another man? Or could an unhinged Jovan Belcher have though she was with another man?

We don’t know the official reason yet, however if screams of,  “if I can’t have you, no one can”.

Jocan Belcher is no hero – he’s a coward who took the cowardly way out.
